Very few people had to leave regional flying, most chose to.

I was perfectly happy at my regional, and I didn't need more money. Then a legacy offered me a job, I chose to take it, and now I'm even happier. The work is the same, the people are basically the same. The support is so much better it's insane. I didn't even know how unsupportive and cheap the regional was until I was here. None of that means I was unhappy at the regional.

Your aggressive defensiveness really makes it seem like you're trying to rationalize being at a regional to yourself. If you're happy there, there's nothing wrong with that, just enjoy it.

Agressive Defensiveness? No, you actually have it flipped. The agressive nature isnt coming from me, I am perfectly content.

Sorry your feathers got ruflled with a reality check.
Because you think it proves a point doesn't mean it does. Did I use the word lowly as you wrote? That came from you. Maybe that's what you hear when someone says rj lifer, but that's not what I said. Thats a you thing - further fitting the mold I mentioned. I fit a general mold of a retired military aviator - we have similar quirks , some more than others, but most could probably guess who we are during the course of a pairing. I don't take offense if someone says, I guessed you were prior mil, because I fit the mold in certain areas. It's not insulting and talking down as you are quick to throw out. Watching you argue, having to be right with almost anyone you converse with here, and really showing little consideration for others' views fits a mold of lifers in my experience flying with them. Not that I've flown with tons, but the ones I have were very similar. How many legacy/major pilots have you flown with..?

I would love all regionals to burn to the ground, but I didn't hate my time at mine. I absolutely had to do some time at one, but as a previous poster said, it's because of how the system is laid out. I'd like to see that change. Let me fly my small a/c at lower pay to learn the ropes, but let that paycheck come from aa/dl/ua.

Ruffled feathers..? You giving me a reality check..? Hardly...🤣

fact you spent the amount of time putting this together, shows I have ruffled your feathers. You are spending an awful lot of effort trying to hammer me down.

Ok... whatever you think I guess. I was attempting to discuss my thoughts on the matter, kinda like I would if we were face to face having, you know, a conversation. But I guess you would just keep pushing to prove you got under my skin🤷‍♂️. All I can think of is Farva in Supertroopers "I got you good you Rookie Łuck!".

You got me good.

Exactly. Somebody depends on projection to deal with the obvious cognitive dissonance. 50 posts and counting in this thread alone. Amazing.
