I hope you are wrong. I can't imagine working with him or the public knowing that he was flying a jet.

This is AIRLINE PILOT CENTRAL and The Title of this Thread is NOT: Charlie Kirk good or Bad? It's: LAX rep social media rant.......and thats kinda why we are talking about it

I m going to be honest, prior to this week I had no idea who Charlie Kirk was, I also had no idea the name of the LAX LEC vice chairman was. As of Friday Friday evening I know both of these things.

I still don't really know much about Charlie Kirk other than the news has called him a "right wing activist" or a "conservative activist"......so let me ask you if a "left wing activist" was assassinated, and an LEC rep posted something similar as AS..........do you think they'd ever fly a plane with a blue globe on it again?..........

I think WE ALL know the answer to that question, so I don't see why the outcome should differ.

Until many of you can realize that there are far to many guns in the US, acts like this will continue to happen.
The UK outlawed firearm ownership (except in certain circumstances). Google 'Ronan's Law' to see where banning firearms leads.
A particular type of weapon is not the problem. Just ask Iryna Zarutska's family if she'd still be alive if for a ban on firearms.

It is not a cliche at all. Show all your data.

He'd never fly again. There is a double standard. Leftists called for Trump to be burned, killed, and numerous other things his entire first term and none of them were removed from Twitter. Milo said one of the women in Ghostbusters was a terrible actress and called her an "Ape"and he was permanently banned immediately. There are two standards and we all know it.

I own several firearms, support the second amendment, have gone hunting, have a CCW, and am a member of the ‘special club’, but when I hear this argument I can’t help but cringe because it’s insanely obtuse and intellectually dishonest.

Name a single other ‘western’ nation that has outlawed guns where things like this happen. To pretend like our culture in this country as well as the lax laws around firearms do not contribute to the problem is insane.

There’s a happy medium somewhere but neither side is actively looking to find it.

Remember how we stopped the drug epidemic by making drugs illegal?

I will never fly with Andrew. More importantly, how could anyone fly with this guy knowing that he may hate everything about you and want you ‘un-alived’? I’m not willing to take that risk (and neither should UAL).

Make it make sense!
TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT. Just like Trump called white supremacists "very fine people".

The context is that he's saying OTHER people will think that. He immediately says after saying this when asked about what he though about this Kirk says "that's not who I am. That's not what I believe."

He then says "it also creates unhealthy thinking patterns. I don't wanna think that way. And no one should"

If you have listened to him at all you'd know none of this is true. He's just not super left, so obviously he's a "white supremacist" LOL.

Taxes are too high? Must be a white supremacist.

Government is too big? Also white supremacy

Voter ID. Clearly white supremacy.
