If company A buys company B, then the pilots at company B should go on the bottom of the seniority list. And vice versa. The buying company is taking over, so those employees should get priority.

This created the ninjas. As the old Northwest pilots retired, the new hires bid into widebodies as fast as possible. In my opinon, most of these guys were entitled *******s who thought they were better than everyone else. Kind of like some of our post 2022 hires. |

They only stayed for 20 years. Lol. When I flew with Republic pilots 22 years later, they were not happy. Divided airline for decades. I believe new hires at post merged airline were not fenced which is where the animosity came in. The Republic pilots rightfully didn’t think it was right being fenced off widebodies so pilots hired post merger could fly them instead.
