I hope that they knocked it out of the park on this TA. They have been waiting far too long to try and come together to find a solution that works for the majority of their work group. Their work hours are horrible, their retirement is nowhere near what we have, and they have to deal with so much grief from the traveling public as well as their fellow employees. It’s about time that they moved the bar up for their industry as a hole.

That's a fair point. At present it seems like acquisition of anything, regional or major, carries a lot of financial risk. But long term, I'd think that the company isn't looking to reduce its profitability. What do you see as the pros/cons of a wholly owned vs outsourced right now?
