Socal,

Thanks again for the info. Keep us posted.

As far as the hot steaming crow, I think they serve it luke warm and dry, and call it lighter choice chicken at UAL

I spoke with a IAH ACP and he said a small
System bid in Dec for a LAX base and then a Jan system bid with over 400 United furloughs coming on property. For what what it's worth.

I'd love to also dine on crow but the track record of the CPO on the base rumor is about as good as the school house. The school house is just below Simone who believed Ferris passed out at 31 Flavors.

Your desperate optimism is comical. No way to the "400 ual recall rumor".

400 slots? Love to see it but probably not. 400 contacted to fill 40 slots. Might be something there.

The IAD cp who is Kieth Rimers right hand man has been saying for the last month 30 UAL recalls per month starting Jan-Feb till Mar-Apr increasing after that to max TK can train with new hires off the street in Oct time frame. He has been saying this since last month.

I will point out he is on the CAL-UAL transtion team, just finished working with one of the CAL cp's on the modeling of the flight office for the new airline that will be used at all bases, and like I said before highly connected.

Do I believe it?, not sure depends if they increase flying for next summer is my question, then yes its possible.

I hope that all input from the CAL CP was dumped in the trash upon receiving. It's pathetic enough we got Abbott running the show. The last thing you want is CAL CP's to have any input on how to boss the pilot group...
