You don't hear so good, do you? Name one Mesa or Skywest flight that uses IAH as it's hub city. They all go through ORD, SFO, LAX, PHX, etc. etc.

It ain't a United hub yet. No UAL pilot can bid to fly out of IAH, EWR, or CLE.

Wow,

What a sad life you must have lived to find so much glee in breaking someone else's contractual rights. Good thing there isn't a strike in OO's future as I'm sure you'd be one of the first to receive a 21 clicker salute.

...says the pilot from the ALPA carrier with the most scabs of any ALPA carrier and who's pilot group elected a scab as their MEC Chairman...

I don't work for Skywest by the way...I'm just tired of the hypocrits at CAL labeling people scabs who aren't scabs....Go ahead and label the furloughed United pilots who will be flying this flying in IAH as "scabs"...Go ahead and deny these furloughed United pilots the jumpseat...

Netvets, since you copied-and-pasted your Deep Thoughts from the other thread, I will do the same with my response:

Your idea that CAL ALPA is reaching out to Republic's IBT to strategize sounds nice in the ideal union brotherhood fairy-land, but CAL and UAL (both ALPA) can't even seem to see eye-to-eye to solve their own in-house problems, and nothing along those lines of what you postulate has been indicated by CAL's or Republic's unions.

The SkyWest SAPA president HAS stated that he has reached out to CAL ALPA to establish a line of communication, FWIW.

Where do you get your information? If you are refering to the CALMEC Chairman, 1989 would be his hire date. While he has fallen out of favor over seeking a national seat........I'm not aware of him crossing a picket line or flying struck work.

"Barbie Jet" pilot, go hang out in your own forum for Regional pilots.

Being a two time UAL furloughee, I am fed up with your chatter. You sound like a happy guy who loves to stir the pot. I probably have done more battle in my airline career before you were in Kindergarten and take total offense to the "Scab" comment. 2172 Strong..

And your idea that an organization that is not recognized by the NMB to be the legal representative of a pilot group reaching out to CAL ALPA sounds nice in your ideal non-union brotherhood fairly land but until Skywest pilots get their heads out of the sand and want to participate in this discussion by finally unionizing like the vast majority of those in our profession. But where was SAPA when DD was fighting to get his job back? Where was SAPA's team of attorneys representing DD at court? See, I can play the strawman argument as well. The ONE disagreement on pay banding between UALPA and CALPA does not mean they are not united on scope.

The point is that the ALPA SPSC committee is fully spooled up on this. This committee is comprised of pilots from many different types of airlines. The whole purpose of the SPSC is to coordinate strategy and tactics between multiple pilot groups. Pilots of multiple airlines are being coordinated to fight this scope violation. Skywest pilots find themselves in the middle of a battlefield without any real say. Someone used the term collateral damage before. I think that is a very good analogy for this situation.

Do you want to be part of the solution or put your head back in the sand while everyone else is fighting this battle?

Just want to point out that every pilot flying out of IAH, EWR, and CLE are UAL pilots.....that is the way glenn and jeff see it. Untill we all wrap our minds around that fact and get a JCBA, they are going to do what ever they want.

This is true, sadly enough. It is, what it is.
