....and where do you think most 'mainline pilots' come from these days? Ask your next FO. I'll be willing to bet his/her previous gig involved flying something built by Bombardier or Embraer.....and most remember where they came from.

Nope most of my fo do not come from that background, but thanks for asking your concern is overwhelming. Can't remember the last rj pilot I had with me.

Wow, you must be a barrel of laughs to fly with.
I find it awesome that my ALPA dues are going to support the good fight for such fine folks who created this mess by conceding scope 20 years ago and who now throw the RJ pukes under the bus at every opportunity.
Makes it so satisfying giving the jumpseat to guys who hate me but put on the nice face when they have to commute.
FWIW, essentially nobody flying RJs wants to do so. But the high and mighty sold that flying out a couple decades ago, wanting nothing to do with small jets in exchange for larger paychecks. Look at the damage it has done to the industry.
I strongly support those who fight further scope erosion and who fight to bring the flying back in-house. But I'm sick to death of being blamed for the problems in the industry by pompous folks whose seats are the result of good timing and good connections and nothing else.

I would love to have a jumpseat war, would not bother me one bit.
Funny thing on this site is when you have a difference opinion on things you always get that you must be fun to fly with nonsense, I have a great time when I fly seems like my crew does also, just don't support the rj's at all, if you don't like it tough.

Sorry you must have me confused with someone as I don't ride on your jumpseat. How would you know how I am to fly with because I have an issue with rj's. I am thrilled with how my alpa dues are spent also, trust me many of us here are very tired of our representation. I assume your seat is due to good timing and good connections. I love the assumptions you guys make.

Also, I have no jumpseat wars. Everyone is welcome. I'm a commuter and understand the frustration of getting to and from work.

That may be the single most selfish thing I've ever read on this forum. Bravo, sir. I had my suspicions that you may be a ......... This comment confirms it. I wonder haw many of your commuting colleagues would find you a blast to fly with after this one.

Hey since your a betting man I guess I would take the bet that if and when that happens you would stop by carry a sign for a couple minutes, maybe even bring a bag of donuts and then go fly your trip covering our routes, I know that will all be our fault.
Would be interesting to see the name calling in person.
By the way if this is the single most selfish comment you have read here you have not been around very long. I now look out for our pilots after watching this industry for quite a while now.
Okay some more names please, by the way how long have you been in this industry?
