That is the way our trips and schedules have to be built as well. It would not count, unless of course there is an international leg on the trip somewhere. The 756 community is used to trips back-to-back because of the international, down line rest provision. The 737 group does not see this as much when schedules are built.

Unfortunately, at CAL there are movable days off on reserve. So where that would come in to play is if the company needs to "roll" a day off past the sixth day. Somewhere on the sixth day or before a reserve would be given 24-hours off in base and then a trip assignment after the break. This, of course, assumes we are talking about trips with only domestic flying in them.
In May 2009 we signed a side letter that had major improvements in our scheduling provisions. Quality of work Life and fatigue LOA. This was the same 2007 TA that we rejected by a wide margin due to concessions that were attached to it....
In 2009 (initial merger talks) our MEC chair refused to come to the table unless United agreed to the 2007 TA minus all the attached concessions.
United agreed..With this agreement also come our whole month pay protection....You will get pay your PBS line value Regardless of cancellation/reassigments etc. In other words your protected PBS line value can only increase , never decrease for pay reasons. Prior to this agreement, our protection was for trips that originated after the 2oth of the month.
