REMINDER TO ALL:
I recognize that emotions are running hot and volatile on this subject and thread. I have already deleted 3 posts and had to edit three more.
If you use profanity, disguised or not, you will be deleted.
If you direct insults at someone on the other side or position, you will be deleted.
If this keeps up, I will close this thread.
Use logic and reason to make your point, not angry rhetoric.

Emotional topic indeed. I don't have a problem with guys staying on past 60, they were told it was ok to do so. I have a problem with them saying that age 65 had NOTHING to do with my second furlough. Yes, the economy and other factors were involved, but NO RETIREMENTS was the nail in our coffin. If they need to make themselves feel better by saying age 65 had nothing to do with furloughs, fine. There are guys that can justify crossing a picket line too.
Again, if you are over 65, I don't blame YOU for my furloughs, but DO NOT say that age 65 had little to no effect on my career. I'm sure you and your families stayed in your homes and ate just fine over the last few years.
