Since it's been a couple weeks...
...I think I get it. Sorry it's been more complicated then Congress. Please include missing bulletin points.
1) Capt Morse had a path that would have leveraged the company into a JCBA
2) Pierce is a side dealing (explective) who boned all leverage to get a JCBA
3) Pierce did this because he has a dubious past
THUS
1) Pierce was probably promised a management job by Abbott for getting Cal PS
2) Pierce will take this job in the near term
TO PREVENT ABOVE
1) Pierce must be thrown out by Cal pilots some of whom are scabs but nevermind the majority of Cal pilots will never 'get it' unless Pierce is tossed
2) Pierce will hold no grudge against Cal pilot group for throwing him out after securing PS thus will not go to management out of spite
3) Pierce will learn lesson and fly the line for the rest of his career
THUS
Company will cave and Contract completed in short order

We all know where you both stand on this. You are both entitled to your opinions, but ask yourselves how stirring the pot and collectively relieving yourselves in our pool helps the entire group going forward

I agree with your assessment of the situation. I would add that if Pierce had the interest of the CAL and UAL pilots at heart and a strong Union on the property, he'd resign. There is NO WAY around it, the UAL guys don't trust him and many of the CAL guys don't trust him. The only thing he'll be good for are the little side deals brought to him by the company and we know what they do! The sooner he moves on the better we'll all be.

This pool is already a health hazard in my book. Wishing we all get paid before acting like the town drunks.

This thread is a re-hash of what has already been discussed to death, complete with glaring errors AGAIN, and is a waste of time.
Nothing to see here, keep moving please.

Any next move involves you contacting your LEC reps or going to an LEC meeting and flooring a resolution about what you would like to change. Use the process; it's far from perfect, but it's not divisive. Nothing personal, but this back and forth between us is counterproductive and only helps our real adversary.

dogfood, not directed at you, but I just got a copy of a CAL SCAB list that has pictures. Are these guys happy SCABS and volunteer their picture or do you guys take them without them knowing?
Sorry, I'm just surprised the SCABS would allow access to their company pictures. Are all CAL employee ID pictures on a public forum?

That list, BTW, goes from the youngest Saving Continental Airlines Brother to the oldest so that as the older ones retire the list shrinks from the bottom up. Unfortunately not being alphabetical it's not easy to find names on it.
They aren't part of our "rEAL" pilot group anyway, but most of them are in the dark corners of the IAH crewroom figuring out how to Steal Cash Again Before they retire.

You're going to try to tell me how to use the process to fix the problems facing the UAL/CAL MEC, give me a break! If that's your next move we are in deep trouble - you do know that a lot of the process your are talking about happened several months ago. We've moved past that and your man sold you out for chump change - If you don't know what to do - FIX THAT!

Come on Dex.....Your on this 'info-enriched' thing called the internet my man. Ask some, and they'll tell you that a guy named Al Gore invented it, but that's ground for another discussion! If you just happen to "look" hard enough, you can find just about anything.....That is 'if' you get my drift in relation to your question above.
I'm sure if you try hard enough, you may even find the particulars of a place called "GUAM", and where it might reside.
Good luck!
If your a "r"UAL Pilot accessing CCS/CoAir through the "Flying Together" portal, the short answer is NOPE.
