Ok. I just had the wrong dates. But there will certainly be involuntary furloughees that return before SLI. It would just be nice to get them all back.

SFO Council 34 update:

Recalls: Of the 88 original recall letters sent out to the furloughees, 62 have responded (non-responses are considered bypassed). 37 accepted recall and 25 bypassed. Of the 37 accepting recall, 16 are currently at s-CO. Only 11 of the 37 are previous A320 or B300 First Officers.
Another round of 76 letters will be mailed planning April training dates. Management hopes to eventually be able to fill a total of 68 A320 First Officer positions from recalls.

Another set of calls started today. Will take the number offered recall up to around 250. The first 37 to accept started on Monday.

good luck finding people. it appears the ratio is slightly lower than the cal offer. who would want to switch planes, go on reserve, and maybe be at another domicile which u were furloughed out of ( or do they have to put u back to where u were furloughed from?)

The involuntary furloughs go to the open vacancies. I think only the VF get to go back where they came from.

VF had to go back to their seat and base unless they couldn't hold it. If that was the case, bump rights.

VFs did have the option to choose from open vacancies if desired.....in this case JFK & IAH 320 F/O. I did see at least one pilot take IAH in the current group.

I got the call today (8/99 hire) and was not offered any bases, they said if I take the recall then when I show up they will let me know what base I will get (all A320's)
