-4350 total all of which is multi turbine (no kidding...Tweet was my first plane)
-3000 + PIC (tanker, herk and whale)
- several types
- Mil and civ (tanker, herk and whale)
- 4 year
- currently 1 internal and getting a couple more
- previous IP/EP
- all sorts of "fluff" to include WIA, tons of mil accolades, etc
- apps in with Spirit, USAir, UCAL and Virgin

Can you go to Canada without any issue from your DUI?

Yup, you probably shot yourself in the foot unless your ticket was a misdemeanor as most jurisdictions regard speeding tickets as infractions.

Isn't there an entirely separate question for traffic violations anyway?

Yes. There is.

BTW, I was just told that answering "yes" to that question isn't/wasn't a show-stopper. Must have been something else for me...or, maybe they randomly selected from candidates that met a certain criteria. Who knows...

Come on now... Because you didn't get in on the very first off the street calls you think its because you answered yes to that one question? I am thinking that's not the case...

the dwi is not holding you back we have so many pilots with a DWI. The one thing that holds pilots back is not being upfront with what happened a buddy of mine just got invited for an interview and he had a DWI. Its just where you app falls on the pile.

To reiterate what was said regarding the sim...when I interviewed back in '07, it WAS in a 737-300 (EFIS). Since that timeframe CAL got rid of the 300EFIS and replaced it with a NG sim.

That being said, I would assume that all near-term interviewing will be in DEN as the [CAL] IAH Training facility is at max capacity right now. The DEN TK [Training Kingdom...gay name, I know] isn't; therefore, there is plenty of room for interviews....AND they still have their old 737 sim there.

Best of luck to all getting the calls/emails! Hope to see you here soon!

I remember the process you all are going through very well and all the emotions that go with it!!

Good luck to you guys.

We still have the 737-500 1/2 EFIS sim. Looks like a 757-200 panel. That sim will hopefully be going bye-bye as well as soon as the last -500's are parked this year.

As I said before...has to be something. That question is as likely as any.
