The CAL Capts I've flown with for over a year have been great....not a whole lot different that UA guys.

The faster this thing is behind us the better. We have bigger fish to fry than b1tchin at each other.

I couldn't agree with you more!!! All the UAL pilots I've flown with also, have been great!! It's the situation that stinks!! I'm ready for it to be over so we can move onto the next thing to B@#ch about!!

Jane Fonda? She's okay. Nothing special. I did like On Golden Pond. Coming Home was a good movie, but may not be suitable for you. She does believe in free speech, I'll give her that much credit.
Memorial Day coming up "Jane Fonda" have a little respect for the approximately 54,000 Vietnam GI's that paid the ultimate price for that "freedom of speech".

Is that avatar really you?

Not sure that the outcome of the Vietnam war effected "freedom" or "freedom of speech" one iota. Sad though.

So....
I deadheaded over to LAX the other night on LUAL metal (out of JFK). The crew were great.
The Captain then actually deadheaded back to JFK on us (yesterday). LCAL metal.

The one thing that comes to mind is this.. people are people. Those 2 LUAL pilots were cool and we BS'd a bit. Then yesterday we (my Captain & I) BS'd with the deadheading LUAL Capt for a while.
We're all just pilots!

But the funny thing was this- get back to JFK and while waiting for the bus, there was another LUAL pilot crew waiting for their hotel van. (SFO based)..
The Captain was cool, talkative. Nice guy. The FO didn't want to give us the time of day!
LOL

It's all good. It's the individual, not the group~

Still hope come Aug/Sept we can all come together. We'll see!

Have a Great Weekend everyone. Let's not forget what it's all about.
Always
Motch

PS> LAX was kinda a CF. That normal?

Stand by for what? I think the 54k should be honored for sure. I also think they would agree with me. I don't think the genesis or the outcome of the Vietnam war had anything to do with freedom in any way.

This is from a cal LEC officer that published an article (blast mail) encourage the cal guys to get involved and join the fight against the UAL pilots. Unity? He was asked to post the blast mail for all forum members to see and he chose not to - transparency?
These guys were elected by the cal pilots and they appointed pierce to lead them but don't want to shoulder the responsibility of pierce's actions.

He was on here doing damage control - why didn't he just post the blast mail or does it really show how dysfunctional the cal MEC has become under pierce.

Why don't your reps come on here and post all their blastmails when the L-CAL pilots demand them to?

There are rules against wearing the flag as an article of clothing.

I paid your salary while you were on active duty. Ever drink at a subsidized O-Club?

Do I need to put my service in for consideration before responding? I did more than a lot and a lot less than many. Will it pass your idiotic litmus test?

IF you truly wore the uniform, thank you for your service. It appears you need to go back and relearn some of the basic lessons you were supposed to learn before putting it on.

I'm not a CAL/UAL guy, just a guy whose company is probably going to merge. Seems most of the CAL/UAL guys are a bit more sanguine than the DAL/NWA guys were on these boards. I hope your merger is as or more successful than theirs.

Stallers just mad, things didn't go as easy as he thought they would...No one rolled over for him, Pierce didn't do what he wanted... I'm sure theres more. Looks like the emotional impact really took a hold of him.. Staller is there anything we can do to help? If it makes you feel better Staller Hepner is not what we expected either... Should we bring Tilton back? This whole three years has not been easy for anyone, some more that others.... Change sure does stink. Max
