You want to blame the UAL side for the contract because of money. Way off point and lack of understanding of what was going on. The CAL side thought by putting the contract out for vote, as written, would fail. This would have given the CAL side time for a bigger grab of Captain seats that belong to UAL pilots. The "YES" vote started time clock for of SLI start and stopped the seat grab and other things from impacting the UAL side. The contract is a POS but as a betting man, I'd bet that half of the "YES" voters were CAL pilots tired of the dealings of their MEC.

You and the handful of LUAL guys that post on here really give LUAL pilots a bad name. It's obvious that you are trying to compensate your fear and cluelessness with arrogant and ill informed posts. Have you even read the transcripts?
Perhaps you've just been polishing up your next "We have to vote YES" campaign for the next turd that mgt sends us and haven't had time to read the FACTS? In that case - Boo!

This might just be the most illogical disjointed post of the year, so far.
Voting no somehow would have kept Jeffy and crew from buying 737 900's to replace 757 200's? maybe voting no would have increased the severely limited performance capabilities of the 737-9? Possibly voting no would have kept costs down as we trudged on without a contract and the minimal LCAL contract soldiered on and replaced all of the LUAL guys? What the HE!! are you getting at here? There are so many divergences from reality it would take weeks just try and break it down..

I read all the transcripts Mitch Rapp. You bet your arse I voted yes, which brought on the SLI clock, which brought us to this moment. When the SLI is complete, the 3 year party for you '05-'08 guys ends and the next 20 years begins. Do you really think '97 hires are going to be stapled? HAHA. Nope. We will be a 1000 man plug in your career progression. Get ready.

Clearly you didn't COMPREHEND the transcripts. That coupled with the fact that you don't understand ALPA merger policy makes for a very ignorant pilot. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you were so quick to fall for the latest fear tactics preached during the UPA vote. Anyway, carry on "Sled".

Go J!
And, Mitch how about the day the SLI comes out we meet on APC to see who gets pie in their face . . .
I'm gonna guess right now you will be curiously absent on that day.
