Not to add fuel to this dung-fire but I thought it might be interesting to see the combined base junior man in operation table for the new numbers.

Can't see many CAL guys coming into the Airbus fleet when the guppies are much more of a junior fleet. A couple guys will take the opportunity to move into the guppy from the Airbus, especially in DEN, LAX, SFO, and ORD.

It will require openings however in order to move.

It wasn't false growth, nor was it s/l-UAL growth ... It was growth enabled only by s/l-CAL, and never would have happened at L-UAL when it did, never. The arbs gave you part of that equity in the award ... I can live with that. So many UAL guys don't realize it, but this award in soooo many ways, ignores the precedent of past, and sets new ground for the future ... Without the policy change, this award never ever would have looked this way ... go review history ... Rarely have furloughed pilots been placed above active pilots ... Extremely rare in the history of arbitrations ... And the hybrid methodology has never been used ... This will haunt all of us again sometime in the future.

Time to let it all go as fighting will not change a thing. I realize both sides are doing their best to perpetuate the battle (ie. the UA MEC dispute over the 787 fence and the threatened s-CAL pilot lawsuit) but in the end, the list will stand. The sooner everyone vents and gets this out of their system the better we will be moving forward.
The real enemy is the crappy airline we have become and the true battle is to run the best operation on the planet and to get ready for the next contract.

I'm an 11/2007 with LUal and been at LCal for about a year. Anybody know how vacation will be credited to me and will my pay rate go up or stay the same until I have enough "sweat equity" to equal my current pay rate and then go up from there?
