Well, I still haven't consolidated. Got the 30 day extension last month and haven't flown since. I made my one and only call to scheduling, reminding them that I'm about to expire. They said, and I quote, "What do you expect us to do about it?" I just said never mind and hung up.

Ahh yes the new UAL crew desk. Incompetent liars the lot of them. Oh and unfriendly too. Better to not deal with them as little as possible.

Don't you have to go back to the sim if you fail to get consolidated after the extra month? Given their training backlog, I have but one thing to say.....enjoy your vacation.

Just a heads up, one of my crashpad roommates played this game and wound up going back for a full maneuvers validation and LOE. No warm up sim, no prep. He got real nervous real fast.

You imply I'm playing a game?!? These idiots in scheduling don't give me any trips, even after calling them. Trust me, I really don't want to go back to training, especially while on probation. But the SIM doesn't scare me and the candy land instructors don't scare me either. In all honesty, I'm kinda ****ed off. I'm supposed to be competent and confident in my abilities as an FO. But when the system doesn't allow you to practice what you've been taught, what do they expect. I DON'T feel competent!! But I am not going to take responsibility for their screw ups.

As a probationary new hire probably not the best idea to try and "work" the system. Especially if your going to post about it on a forum. I'm worried about United's future if new hires have this kind of attitude. I wish you the best of luck my friend!

I rarely post on here but often read what is posted. I just want to say that I was really hoping that we were hiring better employees than this. If an employee has this attitude during his probationary year, I can only imagine what it will be like off probation.
