The FA I spoke of was L-UAL so tell me again how this is bashing L-CAL?
The question "Can the human eye see something three miles away" to me is a fundamental lack of understanding of how the eye (a passive system) works. Since you can see light from stars that are millions of light years away, I can't imagine an educated person actually thinking this, let alone saying it out loud.

Read the first post. It mentions UAL too.
It was just a little funny for me to hear LCAL gals tell me how the merger went down.
Funny....that's all.
Bunch of bad information out there.
I was hoping some LCAL guys would have some stories about LUAL F/A's and their perceptions on the merger.

I may take your advice and continue lurking and leave the unity building to you. Unity building with a thread title like "Things I learned from CAL F/A's" is a far reach. And it's not even a CAL vs UAL thing. It's more like you talking about your slow sister because she's not in the room to defend herself. It's more fun and productive buying a flight attendant a beer and bonding instead of unity building your way. That's just me.

Getting close to landing the FA was in the cockpit as the other pilot was on a potty break and the FA asks me how the weather is. I told her "Its good except the visibility is down to 3 miles"
Her response "Can the human eye even see something three miles away?"
I respond "You can see the moon can't you"?
She says "Oh ya. I guess you're right"

I had one say "I should make more money than you. You only fly the 767 while I fly the 737, 747, 777, 787...."
I thought about saying "we could replace you with a coke machine", but I decided that would be too mean.

For the most part they can't and guess what, a majority of the pilots can't make what they make being a pilot here at good ol United. As a point of reference, go job hunting. What's the point?
