That's Johnny F'n Airplane...and he's overrated. I'm thinking a D-line pick....for the first round anyway. I'm already looking toward the second.

So I'm not too bright regarding this deisplacement thing. I'm not in an affected category, but I'm trying to read the tea leaves to understand where the company is willing to absorb more pilots and the bulletin doesn't seem to give any info on that. Every category is showing staffed at max. I'm just trying to figure out as a very jr narrow body fo on the west coast if I need to start working on contingency planes.

I'm just trying to figure out how come they're fat 50 737 Captains in IAH and how much that cost the company over the last few years.

No, you do not need to worry. The min max is just required to show the areas they are bumping out of are overstaffed. Anyone bumping can go anywhere they have someone jr to them (except to any 76T seat).

Its not just 50. According to them its 150. And it hasent been fat for years. Over the past 2 years the company has been filling vacancies in sfo lax ord dca to swap out with pilots in iah. They claim it is more cost effective to have pairings based elsewhere except iah, so here we are. Not many iah capt wanted to move to another seat so now they are forcing them out. Looks like its gonna be around 6700 on the list to hold a capt spot in houston, be it a320, 737 or 756

Now now, be nice to those '05 & '06 hires. God knows they deserve everything.
