14-02 award and now you can't hold left seat in any other base? Good luck trading. The only realistic way out of Newark is to take a right seat in a wide body.

WTT. High mileage 1977 Ford Pinto. Looking for new model, low mileage reliable luxury car. Thanks for your consideration.

But seriously, you can post your wants on the ALPA boards at the base you are looking. Most don't look at those boards though.

Next time you are in the base you want to trade, I'd try leaving notes in mail slots. Take the monthly awards list, use that to find pilots in fleet and seat, leave a short note asking for consideration of your trade with your contact info.

It's a long shot, but it can work. Juniority doesn't enter into it, just willingness to trade. That is until someone senior to you wants the trade, but that doesn't happen very often. Again, most don't look at the trade boards or the trade posted on Skynet unless they are looking for a trade too.

Looks like the usual suspects still jealous and spreading the hate. Poor old guys, don't worry you will get your turn.

Not jealous at all, actually. He took the bid knowing darn well that he would be stuck at the bottom of the most junior base for a long time. Now he's having buyers remorse and trying to find a better deal while staying in the left seat.

I think my advice was very productive. Take a bid that is realistic for your seniority of today...not what it was prior to SLI. If that's spreading the hate, so be it.

Not impossible. From UPF:

"I see the bottom 737 SFO CA has that code in the column for the bid when he was awarded. His seniority is out of whack with the rest of the list. Is that some type of Flight Office job? Omar Amiri u280103 Seniority 8629."

Answer-Base Trade.

To my knowledge, he was awarded it on a bid. He slipped in and he knows it. Message to the MODS, I do not believe that specific names should be mentioned without that person's consent. I think that it's ok for his seniority number to be posted, but not his name.

Oops, yea you're right. I shouldn't have put that info up. I'll ask for Mods to fix.

But it is a Base Trade.

You say he took 14-02, it was offered well before the SLI. No one knew for certain what would happen. I am sure he is well aware of his ability to downbid out. Why he wants out is anyone's guess but he will still be at the bottom of any 73 base he goes to so your buyers remorse bit is incorrect. For some reason you seem overly concerned with his bidding situation instead of trying to help him improve his plight and offering info that could help, such as Dave Fitzgerald has done.

I hope he finds a trade and you find peace as hate will eat you up inside. I'm worried about you.
