I just finished 320 transition course, and my trng partner is moving to Belize to commute to deep reserve IAH captaining! Makes my quick commute down the coast to SFO very 1st worldly.

Perhaps I'm hopelessly optimistic, but I don't think it'll be that bad. I can comfortably sit reserve from home (even LGA if I have to) and my wife doesn't work, so schedule isn't a huge problem. I've resigned myself to probably missing a few holidays, but it will be nice to be back in the left seat.

From the last SSC report:
The company asked the SSC to plan to prep and review later in July for a Vacancy, so the expected opening would be in the last week of July. The company is waiting on the next monthly updated summer 2017 plan as the block hour forecast will probably change.
