Going from 47 or 87 to the 777 does not require a full course. It's a differences course for both. Still gonna keep TK busy for a while that is true, and if history is any indicator some folks will be able to game the system and stay at home waiting for training for many months.

Sunvox, it's never to late to admit that what you just said is factually adjacent to a Bigfoot sighing while spraying chemtrails from the alien mothership. Your statement comes straight from the grassy knoll. Besides that, it all good though.

Requal is different than requirement for the full course. I believe you can requal on a piece of equipment if you have been on it up to the previous 1 year. Outside of that, need the full course.
You need a full course when going from the 747 to 777. Granted, a Boeing is a Boeing, is a Boeing. Should be able to sleep through much of it. The only short course I know is the 777 to 787. Don't know about the other way.
Also, as far as I know, the first time anyone is going to fly a 777-300er, will be with people in it. Going to have fun trying to figure out how to land the sucker! Only a little on line differences--and the last CQDL already "Trained" us on how to use the video system to not run off a taxi way.
