The same happened at Skywest. A few guys that stayed in the training department got to come back at their old seniority.

No - really don't want to be associated with anything CAL. I know there are some good guys coming from CAL but why didn't they standup against Fred and friends and the union representives of that time. If you don't see what ALPA has done post merger, you've been hiding in a cave. It's safe to come out - just ask your buddy JP.

Ugh! 70 year old Captains. Sorry, not a fan. 65 is great, especially for those who lost everything after 9/11 but geeze. Hang it up! Anyway, wasn't this thread about a vacancy bid? Congrats to the 75+ new Captains!

It was grieved and the grevience was lost. They stayed and were known as friends of Fred. I think most are dead now. I guess you can't change that date.

What "re-gonkulation" occurred after the last snap-shot and the final being posted that caused seeming everyone to move back 3 spaces to the right in system seniority? Admittedly I have not looked at past bids to see if this happens every time or not.

Those were your backroom deals and reach around agreements. Never happened at LUAL and will not happen at post merger UAL. You miss those days don't you - own up - come out and set yourself free. <<LOL>>

Guess you'll add another ring to the 3 ringer with the Profit Sharing Payment - congratulation!
Just out of curiosity where has Trump stated this position? Is there an article or a position paper where he is quoted with this position?

I am glad to hear that you will oppose guys finagling their way back if the age is ever changed.
