2018 UPS hiring
#302
It is good practice, for when they have to sort through the various websites, passwords, tokens, codes, and manuals to accomplish the simple task of checking a schedule.
At least the topic is back on track. Good luck to those in the in the hiring process. If you are lucky, you might remember this post and laugh in the future, when you realize that while it appears to be a sarcastic statement, it is actually laced with nuggets of truth.

No phone screen before I took the HOGAN. Just the meet and greet in LAS at the job fair.

Shoot holes in my theory...
What I know from leaving my interview in April:
The HR team was being augmented by contractors (retired UPS Captains) to assist with the interview workload.
HR told be in my interview they have all the currently scheduled classes filled.
HR told me they planned to conduct training classes through December this year.
Putting together what I have read on here with what I heard from HR in my interview:
I think they have hired or penciled in to existing classes about 170 of the 278
I think August 6 is the last class currently scheduled right now
My guess is the next system bid will drive the training plan post August?
Does this sound about right? If this all sounds about right, when do you all think they will start filling the Sep-Dec classes? My guess is late June or early July?

They use retired managers for the interviews. These guys are not retired UPS line captains who are the foremost experts on what the job actually entails. Just FYI.

Well, after over two years of having an “Active” profile and regular updating, I’ve suddently been told TBNT and asked to join Stella.
Sucks. No idea why.

They’ll be at OBAP in Houston Aug. 14-17. Not sure if that’s the next one though.
