I think the question that needs to be answered is does this bump adequately address the bump in average jet size since 2016. Hopefully, the servers will work long enough to actually watch the video today.

I think the real question that needs to be asked is, whats happening at UPS in 2023, now all contracts are set to expire in 2023, except for the flight dispatchers. MX, ground side, and now pilots all expire in 2023.

Watch the video, 50 minutes, 165mb.

Worked great by downloading first.

After watching the video, this makes a lot more sense. Long story short, until the Teamsters get their new deal we will be sidelined by the NMB. They won’t take long since they can strike the day their contract expires. This keeps up with or slightly exceeds status quo and sets some useful precedents for when we restart negotiations in 2022.

I want to see the remaining videos for the TA and attend the briefing, but I am much more in favor of what the EB has done now. This will also enable us to use other airlines new contracts as enhanced leverage.

isn't there also some kind of pension contribution or something for management that ends in 2023? id have to go digging through the archived news articles but I remember something about that happening also. 2023 will be a big year it seems.

Default Contract extension

With this extension, a UPS FO will make more than a CAPTAIN same YOS at all airline jobs except the 3 Legacies plus Southwest.

Management pilots will have their pensions frozen effective 2023.

JB A320 captains would make more. As would JB A220 captains.

What is min guarantee at JB?

It’s 81.25 hrs /calendar month at UPS (75 hrs/two-week pay period, 13 pay periods/calendar year).

Not sure if the #s on APC for JB are accurate, but based on those a 6yr A320 captain would gross $17150/month at min guarantee and a UPS 6yr FO would gross $17175 at min under the new TA.

With A & B plans UPS is def a lucrative job, just have to know what you are getting yourself into. Personally I love it, but it’s probably not for everyone.
