3 days for me. However I have a friend that took a week. It’s all random, really.

It’s been three weeks for me, still patiently waiting. I did just get an email a few minutes ago which says, “Congratulations! You have successfully completed the interview process as a First Officer. You are now a part of our approved applicant group. The Flight Talent Acquisition team will be in touch shortly to discuss the next steps of the process.” Hopefully a phone call and a class date follow soon.

I’ve heard the wait is typically anywhere from one day to several weeks, with some waiting even longer than that.

Sounds like the old pool letter. Congrats on getting this far. Look forward to seeing you on property.

Hey Tank, I received the same letter Dart did.. What does 'Pool Letter' mean exactly? Talking to a few who were hired in the round earlier this year it seems they got a letter with a more direct language for the job. So glad to get an offer after the Drivers Lic debacle I had earlier this year. Thank you for all the info you provide!

You sit and wait to be called. It is not first come first serve when it comes to class dates. Typically the higher qualified pilots get called first, while lower scored applicants wait.

Congrats on getting this far!

To my knowledge (which is very limited), they effectively stopped using the pool system for a while. At the pace we are hiring, I’m skeptical it’s really coming back since other airlines would readily scoop up our poolies. However, your letter and the others who received it may be due to uncertainty in HR about class dates going forward. If the decision makers haven’t settled on when the system bid will be, HR can’t offer classes. That’s my guess anyway.

Brought this up to someone who “could” potentially know. They said they haven’t finalized any classes beyond January, but it should happen anytime and calls will go out to start filling classes. So you’d be correct if so.
