Bus used to go junior, but with the most recent system bid, at least on the C/A side, 75 is now junior. Not sure for F/Os. Just looking at the lines, I think I'd rather be mega-junior on the Bus, but that's worth about what you paid for it.

Newhire class seniority goes by age. Employee numbers are whenever they process your file, I.e., does not match seniority order.

I think the bottom of the Bus is less pain than the bottom of 757 SDF...but 757 ultimately has a lot more options and since we're still taking 767 deliveries it will be a growing category for a while meaning faster seniority advancement.

My personal opinion is that it will continue to trend up over the next few years. We are currently around six years, but without growth (which I’m assuming doesn’t happen, hope I’m wrong) that will likely climb. Additionally, new hires will be stuck behind the largest year here for new hires since the mid 90s.

We're also not yet into our retirement wave, which was pulled foward and flattened somewhat by VTP, but will still see 30% of our pilot group hit 65 before the end of 2032.

I still think for somebody hired today it'll be 8 years +/- 2 to first available upgrade award, with it likely to skew under 8 than over barring a black swan...guess we'll see.

I hope you are right. On the other hand, I think the glory days of the hiring wave at the pax carriers has crested as well. So it’s not like the grass will be greener there.
