Whats going on with domestic 75? I’m on the MD and it hasn’t been too bad.

Growing fleet = more flying = more ways to be utilized.

why would they leave when they will be paid to stay home? At least in the medium term. Were you here for the DC-8 parking? I think it will be that

If they were to offer another round of VTP where those leaving could be part of the eventual A plan bump with a signed contract, they would have hundreds of takers.

But they don't need hundreds of takers, I'm not sure we're overmanned.

Look at the ages of retirements the last couple weeks.

After 2976 I think there may be an increasing number of people who aren't gonna "hang on" for another potential $25-30k/yr in defined benefit.

Exactly. And with the 767s still coming, I would keep hiring if I were them.

I’ve had multiple jumpseaters since 2976 that are age 60 or over. Every one of them talked about DD being 62, and no reason to be here that long, could have been retired, etc etc. And in the next breath, mentioning this becomes a part time job when you have seniority and that many years of service.

Duuuuuude, look in the mirror. If you feel that strongly, then GTFO too. Some of these people never cease to amaze me. You do you, but quit talking out both sides of your mouth.
