Do those go junior or senior?
The SDFZ does inter flying in Europe. But that is senior at the moment.

Is SDFZ specific to the 75/76, or is that generic and all the airframes in SDF?

It's the 75/76 only crews based in SDF that do international flying.

Not sure how senior really. Percentage wise, I’m better as a Z captain than domestic.

The whale goes to CGN and maybe WAW. Not sure who does WAW now the MD is mostly domestic

Also. Once past 60 the LTD benefit is reduced by what your pension would be if you had retired. This reduction occurs wether you have retired or not.

The last insurance agreement raised the payout to a max of $16,000/month, tax free because the premiums are paid for with after-tax money.

The difference between LTD paid for by the company vs the individual is that a company paid plan is generally taxable while an individual funded is not. The cost of our LTD is negligible once you hit second year pay and there is usually a sizable refund at the end of the year.

To clarify my earlier post; I was commenting on Airbum's post about the payout of our IPA LTD plan, it pays up to $16,000 a month. Are you possibly conflating our Mutual Aid plan which pays out the balance every year, lately around 50%, and our LTD which does not? You characterize the cost as negligible, completely worthwhile and necessary but negligible wouldn't be my choice of words. I paid $5660 last year for LTD and paid in $4,100 for the MAP and I don't remember what I got back. Because the company doesn't pay anything after two years, I don't consider their plan as a LTD plan.

Always important to pay the premiums with after tax money, if at all possible. Having to pay taxes on disability income really sucks.
