Back when I was a CFI in Florida in the late 80s a guy walked into our FBO, he had been driven up in a white van with state tags and wire mesh over the windows. He was finishing a trafficking sentence and had served his FAA suspensions while incarcerated. (something about flying a multiengine airplane with out a ME rating and flying an airplane over 12,500 without a type rating.) He was legal for the FAA, so I am sure once this plays out the Captain will be back at work.

He has been off of the Seniority List for awhile now. Not sure how it was handled internally. Surprised he just didn't get the NB next to his name like so many others and suck on the Mutual Aid tit like so many others have.
