+1 for ECIC. Others have mentioned Adam Hughes but I've heard availability can be an issue at times. One of our guys put together a interview book on Amazon that's supposed to be fairly good, by John S something. WFFF used to have decent interview gouge.

Availability issues? I guess if you try to schedule a day in advance. If he takes you on you can call him 5am the day of your interview if that's what you need. He's waived fees for guys & gals who were unemployed or had major issues going on home. Not only are his preps fantastic where he doesn't teach canned answers, he's a good dude and works with people if they give him plenty of heads-up time.

The book you mentioned is actually a booklet or a pamphlet which summarizes the interview process.

It's to the point and JS revises it frequently to add new info. Two of my recommendations used it and they said it was very accurate. Both are here now.

Since the link might be changing every now and then, type amazon.com and in their search window type "How to ace your UPS pilot interview."
I just checked, it's still there.

Just the messenger bro. If I didn't think he was worth recommending I wouldn't have included him in my post. Didn't realize he has a monopoly on non-canned answers though. (edit: IF he takes you on? You have to apply from his services or is his availability limited??;) )

Yes, if he takes you on. Occasionally if you try to schedule something very late, at the very last minute and he's booked up he'll tell you there isn't enough time for him to properly prep you and that he'd be wasting your money..
I think that's fair and I think that's being honest.

Unknown to anybody outside HR.

Years, unfortunately....as the pool is scored because FIFO ain't real popular around here ;)

Nice call !

:D

It seems that recent classes have been filled mostly by pilots that have recently interviewed and not from long time poolies. Looks like UPS doesn't want to lose a candidate to another major by placing them in the pool.

This trend of CJOs at or very shortly after the interview doesn't seem to bode well for long time poolies. There are a few frequent posters that are apparently in the pool and haven't been called. I'd say to them that they better be actively seeking other opportunities and not counting on UPS calling them.
