The cascade affect may not be truly realized until late 2018. This I think is when we will have 8 new -8's on property. And that's if they don't park the 3 old junk ones that is rumored.
Also, does anyone know if any of the Sim or Ground School Training for the upcoming 747 bid will be done off campus? It's tempting to go to a growing fleet and gain 40% seniority. But would like to train in Montreal, Denver, etc.

Hopefully you live near ANC, as the commute will definitely get worse as 82 more crews are added to ANC.

It's a start for sure, but lags what other airlines can do.

True, but I don't. The 40% increase in Seniority is hard to pass up. It would have been much better if they had opened SDF, but they refuse to. They have 50 NURPS for that.

Does anyone know if they're planning on having a mock bid? ..when is this bid closing again?
I'm guessing that reserves will be getting used on most fleets because of the numerous training events.
We've got the 76 cockpit upgrades followed by differences training, the same with 74 crews getting the dash-8 differences training. ..and isn't Airbus getting some kind of modification too?
I figured no matter which fleet you're on - if you're on reserve you'll be flying for the next couple of years.
