Has anyone heard that Comair might be bringing back 35 of us in the near future?

No, Comair will fly 15% less hours in 2010 than 2009. Comair will have less airplanes in 2010 than 2009. Comair just furloughed in November and will furlough in January. Why would Comair recall?

But if the near futrue is 2015, then maybe.

There was supposed to be a conference call between the Union and Company folks last night, discussion of recall procedures was supposedly the topic.

I'm not saying that your information is wrong, but why would the company recall? We just furloughed in November. According to Bendo's call last week, we are flying less hours next year and will have less planes. I do not see it.

Methods and notice of recall are spelled out in the contract Section 22.

The only reason for Comair to recall right now would be because of attrition, but they would cancel the January furloughs to begin with... I don't see any recalls happening for a anytime soon.

I agree with you 100%. I do not see any reason to recall. We had minimal attrition in the past few months. I would like to know the source of information from the above posters.

The latest going around is the company is anticipating that Mesa's bankruptcy is imminent, and they are trying to prepare.
