Right, what you said. No tricks behind it because management is trustworthy because they say they are.

You won't e out of a job.
Paint has nothing to do with a plane staying around longer. Airlines will park a fleet very quickly if they want to and they wont not do it because of a fresh paint job.

So you are putting financial sense and airlines in the same sentence??? Really???

So Doug Parker is a benevolent leader who hopes the best for his employees, even to the detriment of his bottom line.

The only way not to play with fire is to not be dependent on PDT for a paycheck if they go out of business tomorrow. You said you a background outside of flying. You should leverage that so that you have a back up plan. A 3-6 month emergency fund is a must as well. How would you vote if you didn't need your PDT paycheck? That's the way you should vote. Otherwise you are selling your soul, if you will.

Clearly you don't understand. My friends still at PDT HATE the fact they are cornered. Nobody is giggling. Stop being a dbag. We all know the realities of the situation.

Well what if your not dependent of PDT's paycheck and your outside business allows you to fly at PDT for less money? Hmmmmmmmm

...really? That's your logic? I have a second job - therefore I should accept concessions at one of them which involves a very high level of technical skill.

Your brain is underdeveloped. You would probably feel comfortable replacing your doctor with WebMD and teachers with Wikipedia.
