PDT News and Rumors

From what I'm hearing is our program is almost complete. June they start typing the Instructors. First 2 planes are suppose to be flying in January.
If hired now you will go into the Dash. Current pilots on the seniority list will get first crack at the jets. I see them eventually going junior because many will be flowing and many won't bid the jet that live in our current Dash 8 bases. Now that being said if they close bases then the Jet might go senior.
So basically nobody knows what's going on yet. Probably the bases and amount of planes we get will be related on how AAG and AWAC deal works out.
Right now PDT is a gamble. It's could be a great or it could be a so so reward. Only thing that sucks here right now is our schedules!! Once the company fixes that I'd totally recommend coming here.

I'm really getting a kick out of the PDT recruiting stuff plastered everywhere. I mean, who wants to work for a company too ashamed to put pictures of their actual aircraft on their recruiting ads?
"Come fly a 20+ year old Turboprop, and you can 'reasonably' expect to flow to AA in 3 to 5 years!"
"Picture of a turboprop? Oh you don't need to see that! Look at this pretty picture of an Airbus! So shiny!"
If it wasn't so darn funny, I'd be crying.

Right on cue...it's Lord Massengill ladies and gentlemen!
In more relevant news, I kind of like this pic I found online...captures the spirit of what I have experienced here.

There is nothing wrong with a Turboprop. I was likely flying one while you were in diapers, and if we had them still, I would likely still be flying them. I'm just poking at the douchenozzle style of marketing your company has chosen.
