Why is our union not enforcing our current contract. By their own admission at the road show they said the company does not pay attention to rs CMF or CML for captain and fo reserves. How can we expect them to enforce the long call if they can't enforce the current contract.

We are entering a very dangerous time. If a pilot group can not trust the union ****** is going to come apart. The Sh*T winds are a blowing randy.

The ALPA bylaws (and much of the MAG ALPA documents/info) have all disappeared since they polished up the site into a sales pitch for this "Turdative Agreement"
If anyone has a copy of our bylaws, particularly the language concerning recalls of MEC officers and votes of no confidence, please post or PM it to me--can't find it anywhere on the new MAG site!

From MS's monthly email, our August 20 class has people from: GoJet Airlines, Great Lakes Aviation, Piedmont Airlines, Republic Airways, SkyWest Airlines. I wonder how long they will stick around here at $22/hr with no real proposed contract improvements after they realize the USS Quickupgrade already sailed. Although I still keep hearing more rumors of new ejets, I can't imagine there would be enough to keep upgrade times low for too much longer.

So the contract comparison MAG ALPA sent us all and had as a quick link on the old website is now gone. This is where it should be MAG ALPA ? Contract Comparison but the page is blank. Did they remove this on purpose? I'm guessing so, since that comparison shows us way below every other regional in almost every category, and with this new TA we are just as far below everyone in every category. I wish I still had a digital version, but I have my paper version for reference.
Too bad they didn't do another comparison with our new TA against other regionals current contracts and publish that for us to see at the roadshows. "Go to a roadshow and get informed. But we will only inform you that we have no money and this is the best you all can get. If you want to make more money go to another regional." Because that's what I want my union, who I pay dues money to in order to represent me and my interests, telling me.

We had one guy in my class that was 58. He had retired from his office job and he had the flight time. So he got current again and now gets a nice retirement job.
I wonder how many new hires will have a similar story?

One thing that I noticed in that Email was how much grey hair is in that new hire class.
