Well being that we work for a regional and not big brother mainline, I was tying to keep it on par with other regionals

Not exactly what you're looking for, but you can look up most of the Regional (and Major) pay, etc., details in this online mag here:

Second time I've been told that you guys are not allowed to carry off line active employees on reposition flights? I understand the difference between a ferry flight where only minimum crew is allowed on board. But I find it odd that offline is not allowed on a repo flight. All others I've talked to allow it including Delta. What's the story?

This is coming from someone that regrets their decision to come to 9E.
Because having 1000 121 means your instantly qualified and have the experience to instantly be a captain. And not to mention once you upgrade there you'll be on reserve in NY for a very long time. 9E has a lot of lifers, Compass has 10. So all but 10 senior people are trying to get out. And the money at 9E isn't guaranteed, it's a "bonus". They're throwing money at the walls not because they appreciate your hard work and dedication, but because it's the only way they get people in the door. They have no incentives to offer other than that.

Well let's revisit this topic in about a year and see how things are going. Probably sooner than that. But I believe you can already see the trend, at least on the Delta side.

They told you wrong. We can take employees on repo flights.

The biggest contract gains are going to the wholly owned regionals. And my guess is it will probably continue as Mainline strives to protect their feed and their product. Look at what American announced last week.

Because Delta always follows in the footsteps of American Airlines. Give me a break. Your logic doesn't make sense. Just because American does it doesn't mean Delta will. When has that ever happened? Quite the contrary actually. How many wholly owned carriers does American have? How many does Delta have? (Delta owns 9E because they had to to save their feed and bring 9E out of bankruptcy). How many flow programs does American have? How many does Delta have?
Point is, both airlines treat their regionals very differently. There's zero comparison.

According to 9e posters, they are ending the retention bonus and are going to put it into a permanent pay raise.
