Who knows.
Atleast there is no more guessing. We all know EXACTLY what is going to happen.
ZW got caught with their pants down unfortunately.
What’s that number at Skywest ? Swift air ?

Without a definite plan in place, I see a mass exodus starting real soon .

a reasonable person would have expected an email from ATW…but anyone here for more than a year knows that’s not happening.
I fully agree. Start enacting your backup plans folks.

If they don’t have a wind down plan going into place soon they have seriously wounded any chance for AW and C5 to staff without giant monetary incentive.
Or some other flying is yet to be announced.

I believe AW is flying the oldest owned UA 200’s. Obviously this news is not good for AW folks, but it was expected eventually.

I think ZWs philosophy was they could overcome the deficiencies in the product they were offering by offsetting it with great service. Which that worked for awhile, but these are different times we are operating in compared to 20 years ago . In addition, adding the 700 was a last second Hail Mary that looks like it may have hit the ground . They should have done it years ago , even added a 175 program. Years ago Mesa shedd all of its 50 seaters and added the 175. People laughed and said JO was nuts.
🤔

I will say this , if there was EVER a time for Atw to rally the troops, come out with an announcement about further plans / ideas for the company this would definitely be it .
If not, then there’s no need to speculate any further.

Hulas may still sell out and give awac a lifeline. I wouldn’t plan my career around it, but it’s certainly a possibility.

I don’t think so anymore. GoJet may have been given some extra life today. That airline’s management is an absolute disgrace to the industry as a whole, so I’m not cheering for their success. But I don’t think GoJet is folding anytime soon unfortunately.
