Any given day there is 10+ planes out of service for MX. ive been hearing that they are sending 10 planes back to the leaser for years now and nothing yet. Im not saying it wont happen, it very well could. In which case id stay away. But then again we could pick up 10+ planes tomorrow in which case it may be a good place to be. Nobody knows, look at tsa. 3 years ago i would have said hell no. I heard they recently went down to a 11 month upgrade. So every regional changes every Few years. Its basically a lottery system, usually nobody wins

For anyone familiar with AWAC's training program....about how much of a break is there between indoc/systems and sim training?

Guys what's up with the training at ZW 50 percent passing rate....
10 ppl went on ther checkride 2 days ago and 7 failed, we are using cat 2 min, is that why?

That's better than the rate I heard. I heard out of a class of 12, only 3 made it to the line. that and people are taking 100+ hrs of ioe, so either they are hiring complete duds or tge training dept is failing

That is terrible. At my OO interview the captains made it a point to discuss their 95%+ pass rate in training.

Really sucks for the guys who bust out of training and get that recorded on PRIA...

It is terrible, but AWAC could just be scrapping bottom and extended class dates to people who would have never been interviewed at SKW. SKW claimed 95% pass on people they select, not the same as 95% on GQ pilot population.

Also I got the new revisions and IPad is approved now no more jepp charts or manuals!!
