Picked up right where TK left off... “let’s just move on and forget what happened or what was said... that was in the past”. Nice to see a Union video with some flare.

Yea nobody is forgetting anything. That is evident. The grit in that MEC video was for lack of a better word, awesome. JLs email indicated that the pilot group and the union don’t remember what management has said on paper. That’s a bold move cotton, let’s see how it plays out for them!

I love how crew scheduling is sending out emails to the Airbus side begging for help from captains to cover certain flights. It’s a daily thing now.

2018 was supposed to be 400, 280 Boeing side and 120 Airbus. In the end the net total so far seems to be 110 for the year. Whatever projections they give, half it and then divide by 2

Hope this helps someone. Obviously very fluid at this point. We will see how current events pan out, which could have a significant impact on these numbers going forward.
Mea, are these predictions for the 737 only? TIA.

Next 3 years we retire about 120 so if you're saying 720 hires that means a net growth of 600 pilots over 3 years. Time till tell but with 2019 already being a 2% growth and unknown 2020/2021, it's highly doubtful this pilot group would increase from 3,000 to 3,600 by 2021.
