There’s a good chance that a bunch of captains will pull the chord and retire before November because of the way there pension payout is calculated. If it’s a big enough group of captains the company may have to run a new bid. Otherwise I wouldn’t hold my breath.

As of right now APC is showing you guys with 2888 pilots and 294 aircraft. That equates to 9.8 pilots per aircraft. Are those numbers accurate?

That number includes qx planes. There are around 71 ABs and 160 Boeings currently.

Huh... ok. APC has your aircraft count wrong on your profile page. When I add up all the 737s and 320s I’m getting 294. I thought that ratio seemed a little off.

The 737s seem to be listed twice there

It just opened recently so I would guess in the Spring sometime, maybe around March. Hard to guess about that and really no way to keep up on it except to check these forums or the company site regularly.

That’s a funny coincidence ; qx has around 60 planes so the total of the two airlines is ~290

How many is a bunch? Are we talking 8 or 10, or 40 to 50?

Per guys who attended Flight Path, we’re supposed to have a system wide bid in November. No fences. Expecting 25 Boeing upgrades. Effective date of 4/1/2019 ish.
