Unbelievable... anyways yeah and that same Union rep said they can’t close JFK August 31st right. How many times have I been wrong. How many times has your union rep that literally knows nothing until the same day you do? Never mind though, I won’t post anymore since all of you guys must love being blindsided.
Absolutely there is a reduction on the A320 coming, with at least 100 going to the Boeing this year.

The guys most effected by this are the Boeing guys. If they displace 45 Airbus Captains, all of them will displace Boeing CA’s back to FO’s. The bottom 50-60 CA on the new list are all 737 drivers. Talk about cutting off your fingers to spite your hand. Total waist of money, resources and crippling to moral.

No one will be forced back to FO positions. If they reduce 45 320 CA positions there will be at least 45 new 737 positions

Based on how they processed the JFK closure, the reduction & subsequent vacancies will likely result in downgrades unless they actually consult with the MEC and sign a side letter. But just adding 45 CA slots to the Boeing side will NOT protect CA’s from being downgraded.

Never mind. I am done posting. I am sorry but you have no clue. THERE WILL BE NO DOWN GRADES. Maybe the company will change its mind at the last minute. If not you will see a bid reducing one fleet and growing the other. 45, 35 I bet it holds.

It hasn’t been though. He said 50% for the SLI ruling and it turned out to be 60 %

Anyone could’ve made that guess when one side wants 30/70 and the other wants 70/30

The point is that relying on rumors, speculation and heresay from anyone other than the union or direct mouth of mgmt serves no purpose but to created anxiety, frustration, depression, angst....all that bad stuff.

The only way to keep this pilot group together is through UNITY.

MEA 25000,
You have always provided great info. I have no idea what position you hold in flight ops or HQ, but I have always appreciated your posts. It is really cool to have someone on the inside spill a little dirt from time to time. Your accuracy has historically been outstanding so I know that when you post something it's the real deal.
Please keep posting and disregard the kids around here who like to stomp their feet and throw a little tantrum when you say things that hurt their little feelers. Just know that many of us appreciate the intel that you provide.
