We will end up hiring 163 in 2018. I told everyone almost a year ago we would hire 160. I would like to apologize for my inaccuracies.

What’s the big news that we are going to “all be ok” you mentioned a few months back though?

That’s what I’m praying for.. leaning more towards the notion that the “flight path” attitude correction training is the bignews

Not happening. Flight path is an exercise in fantasy. Where Seattle ites attempt to convince the rest of us that the particularly nasty habits and traits of Alaska Airlines are culture. And that culture is worth millions in salary loss and benefit reduction. The arrogance of the Seattle ites to bring the minions in is unprecedented. Beyond a waste of time....Fly the contract, fly your line, no waivers, no favors, no extensions....not a minute

From a friend in the 01oct class, all slots were Seattle. That makes two classes in a row.

They're clever with slogans. But that doesn't match the QX guys:

80s for 80 for 80: MD-80s 80 hours a month for $80K.
I propose a new one for the Boeing 737:

$737/hr for the 737 with a 73.7 hr guarantee. I'll gladly sign on that dotted line!

See...this is why we are doomed, such small thinking.

Why adjust the decimal. 737 for 737 = 6.5M/year...still less than Brad!
