That’s called an opener, not an offer. Come on man…hurts my brain to try and follow your lack of logic. And why are you pretending that two years of record inflation didn’t happen after that was disseminated?

My understanding is our opener was 320. Their counter was 280. And hardly any scope.

I'm not looking to getting an argument with an 18%er. Just saying, this was not the first offer at the table to the union. It went back and forth many times.

Maybe you’ll find happiness here…

..."pack up and go elsewhere"...wow, did you come up with that all on your own? That's deep.
So much easier to surround yourself with mediocre and live in an echo chamber than to listen to opposing views and perspectives. Because if everyone around you speaks and feels the same way, than you must be right! Right?
I get it man, facing reality is tough and uncomfortable. Better to shoo away the icky truth than be confronted with it.
As far as talking about the contract on the flight deck, don't be scared. I don't even broach the subject unless asked. It's not worth my time. I know there's an 82% chance the pilot sitting next to me swallowed it whole and talking about it for 5 hours won't change either of our opinions. Much like politics and religion.
Sorry my opposing view on the CBA triggered you. But hey, it's almost Christmas. Maybe you could ask Santa for a thicker skin so you can better face this mean 'ol world.

They need to do a lot more than that.

Pretty sure TOS Captain isn’t a huge deal for new hires right now. They can read, and they know it’s in the work rules, and bases.

Does the snap up only change the TOS pay? Or does it change all of the other years 1-11? Not just 12?

No, facing reality is not uncomfortable and I’m not shooing away the truth…I’m just not spending my time b*^%$*#& and moaning about what I think the other guy has and what I don’t have. The icky truth is that you and many like you will never be happy. The minute someone has something you perceive to be better, then all your energy goes into whining about it. I’m not asking Santa for anything because my skin is plenty thick and I am actually happy with the company I work for and the contract we just passed. There is still work to do on the next one but news flash Einstein, there will always be work to do. Instead, I hope Santa brings you extra so you can hopefully find a little happiness during this holiday season.

I think they are gonna snap in May… Looking at virtual bases in JFK, ORD, BOI, AUS, DFW, PHX, SLC, LAS, RDM, GEG, and SAN.

How would a virtual base work?

I have no idea, and neither do they at this point. First look were cities with at least 7 departures per day. Panic is driving this one. They would have to get the union to sign off on this too.
