Maybe one or both of those are authorized to be used. Don't know. I suspect that using them is not allowed if you give them your password and they are not on some approved vendor list. Email your CP and ask. I would not want to be the emplyee who's login information was somehow used to hack into the company and cause problems. If someone hacked in and messed with the scheduling system and caused some cancellations might lead to termination if you gave them your password. Have to decide for yourself if the convience is worth the risk if knowingly violating company policy.

like anything they will figure out who is doing it. Then tell them not to do it. If they say sorry and stop (keep job) If they say sorry won’t do it again and keep doing it (fired) If they say “whatever, I’ll do what I want” (fired)

At the end of the day everyone just wants them to stop. Vengeance or send a message sort of thing varies person to person.

SD’s email was very targeted to the bot user. The language is very specific for those with bad intent and creating an unfair advantage. At minimum it should stop the bot users. But the bot users trying to claim crew schedule viewing and crew communication apps are the same are kidding themselves.
I have flown with a couple of FO’s who mentioned that the FCView app was actually suggested to them during indoc. Pretty sure 99% of the pilot and FA group uses it. That would need to be another memo with an immediately-available alternative if we are asked to stop using it. And guaranteed there will be a few missed trips!
Probably easier just to officially approve it, if it isn’t already (since it is apparently recommended).

The version of the email we got also specifically mentioned the “company SSO password”, which is not the same as a Flica password. I would certainly be suspicious of any external program that asked for an SSO login…..

But my guess is everybody will get a warning. As annoying as bot users might be, I would not prefer that they get fired without any warning. Most folks haven't read the company IT policy.
Now that they've been told, yeah Fire Away.
