Maybe one or both of those are authorized to be used. Don't know. I suspect that using them is not allowed if you give them your password and they are not on some approved vendor list. Email your CP and ask. I would not want to be the emplyee who's login information was somehow used to hack into the company and cause problems. If someone hacked in and messed with the scheduling system and caused some cancellations might lead to termination if you gave them your password. Have to decide for yourself if the convience is worth the risk if knowingly violating company policy.
Now this raises the question of password manager apps, and even browsers which save your password?
Although I think you can make the case that the browser can see all your login stuff anyway, if you can't trust your specific browser, you're in a world of hurt.

The version of the email we got also specifically mentioned the “company SSO password”, which is not the same as a Flica password. I would certainly be suspicious of any external program that asked for an SSO login…..
I have flown with a couple of FO’s who mentioned that the FCView app was actually suggested to them during indoc. Pretty sure 99% of the pilot and FA group uses it. That would need to be another memo with an immediately-available alternative if we are asked to stop using it. And guaranteed there will be a few missed trips!
Probably easier just to officially approve it, if it isn’t already (since it is apparently recommended).

On AS side we use SSO for *everything*... so if you let an outside agency have that I can see why the company woud be concerned, beyond the bot fairness issue.
But my guess is everybody will get a warning. As annoying as bot users might be, I would not prefer that they get fired without any warning. Most folks haven't read the company IT policy.
Now that they've been told, yeah Fire Away.

I have to use SSO for CA.
Or I can access it via the pilot page. After I sign in to that with SSO. Once you sign in on that browser you stay signed in (for a while) for other apps such as email, CA, etc.
Maybe you could access NAVBLUE without SSO, not sure. I always start from the pilot page.

Ping is the MFA component of SSO.
The MFA is only required if you sign in from a new device, location, or browser. It's also required if you leave a company page open long enough to get auto logged off.
Maybe CA never requires the MFA.
