Do whatever you want with it....it belongs to you after all. Someone junior to you dealing with hurt feelings because they couldn't hold it is not your problem or concern. Same goes for senior pilots who bid turns they don't want to actually fly because they are easy to trade away. It's the benefit of seniority after all. I say this as a terminally junior guy who will age out long before I ever get close to holding summer or Christmas vacation.

It’s not the same as a turn. This is about having time off not working

That would be awesome. I'd take two days each month indefinitely.

I put 3 in as many as possible now. So 7 months/yr. I would highly recommend, reserve or a line it’s nice either way.

In the current Alaska CBA are you able to move vacation around during the year at will?
