Lots of misinformation of PBS. These discussions are all moot at the moment. Scheduling improvements are separate from the JCBA discussions and are going to be done via a LOA agreement. The latest union update provided the dates set for the scheduling improvement LOA. That has to be done before anything close to PBS discussions even begin.

What "misinformation" are you talking about? No need to be cryptic.

It's all negotiable. Pre assignments don't have to happen, it's not like it can't be negotiated to assign vacation and what not after the schedules are built.

Ok, for my edification, what airline has PBS and vacation added after schedules are built, as I have not heard of any...

I have a strong feeling there is a good reason why SWA and FedEx avoided PBS in their latest contracts.

I'm not sure. I'm just saying that everything is negotiable.

Let's just hope he doesn't shove Alaska's outdated line bidding and crap pairings down our throats. Skywest and compass get better QOL than that.

Is there a way to update an already submitted resume outside a hiring window? I was told by a recruiter to keep it updated but it doesn't seem possible on either Alaskaair.jobs or on smartrecruiters.com. Thanks!

The short answer is no.

The long answer is no.

The really long answer is you can resubmit all you info in Smart Recruiters and they will see the new stuff. But I didn't think the were really using that anymore.
