We have hired quite a few Ex Alaska folks in the past few months at FedEx. Anyone know the data of how many have left month by month and to what place they went?

Ya couldn’t find it either.
After looking some more I think it’ll post at 5pm pacific time.
(Assuming the window does open today)
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

It was published somewhere recently but it wasn’t much. But a few left for regionals!

You may be right. I work at a place that's an actual toxic, miserable, pilot-hating place to work. Most of these guys don't know from toxic and miserable. I believe Alaska has problems (their application, recruiting and hiring procedures are among them), but on balance, I'd rather have their problems than mine.

Ha ha! Never search APC forums for helpful information. It's a hopeless waste of time.

Nothing wrong with trying to leave your job if it's that terrible and come to AS, but do yourself a favor and keep your applications current at the big four (plus FedEx and UPS if that's your thing).

AS has turned into a stepping stone, particularly with the current huge lack of job protection.

Just heard that the window will open this Friday (Sep 14th) instead of yesterday.

👆👆👆 What he/she said.
A year or more from now that could change. But, right now, we’ve got few retirements, 2% growth, a PO’d workforce, and a Robert Crandall-esqe management team, in the midst of a growing economy/industry/pilot shortage that’s ready to go to battle like its 1993. (Gotta love the 90’s!)

Not a bad stop on your journey though. Just keep your 😳 open.

These guys are correct! And the email the chief sent after his removal confirms what everyone here has been saying for a longtime. Bad mgmt, rudderless ship, failing company, leading by fear and intimidation, etc. What a great place to work!

Are you talking about AS or B6???😃

Standing by for merger, or at least code share agreement.

Recently talked to a classmate of mine. 28 years and he's pulling the plug at Age 62. He says pretty much the same thing as you've read here.

To tell you the truth, I'm glad to be gone if this is what was once a great place to work has deteriorated to.
