John could fly a Dash-8 up its own a$$.....Sucks as a manager but a quality stick....Carlos is a paper pilot.. no flying skill and has never really flown the line in the 737...A little as an FO and not a day as a captain

I spend more time on the line than in the office. Which, btw, is fine by me.

Reminds me of PM. 15 years in the office writing Turn Procedures. When he finally came back to the line he only flew the plane on blue sky days. Had him once take my flight from ANC-SEA for currency. Bet the F/O that PM would work the radio rather than fly. Won that bet.

Well I am almost *qualified and I am getting ready to put apps out. Probably Delta and Fedex. Maybe Alaska.... I am wondering what the morale and culture is like at Alaska these days? Also, what are their plans for growth? I know that they bought Virgin and that Delta is really competing hard for the PNW market. But I don't know much else.
I have never once been in their jump seat and I do not know anyone currently working there.
Also, is Seattle a impossibly senior domicile or pretty doable?
*qualified as in meet mins of 4 year degree and 1000 TPIC

Morale is pretty low. Newhires regularly get based in Seattle... it is our largest base so it has the most attrition, and would be a safe bet to assume that you could get Seattle based.
