I only gave two weeks notice and didn’t hear a word from anyone accept for DM…the other DM who I heard also resigned..not the promoted DM.

Probably safest in today's environment. I personally wouldn't want a two week air gap, to say nothing of 30 days, just to collect some vacay $.

I'd also ask the union about their policy on re-hire eligibility, if your length of notice affects that.

Good grief. You're a glutton for punishment. WTF are you talking about?

I don’t think AS has ever rehired a pilot who’s left. How dare they leave.

They have at least once… there was a rehire in my new hire class. Everyone was shocked that he was rehired.

Why did you think a bid was coming out? A new bid should be out in June.

It has the look of a possible deal, the right two people are finally at the table. UAL got one, I hear DAL and AAL are not to far behind. Our reliability will not improve until we have a TA. He seemed dug in two weeks ago, seems we have his attention right now, I am pretty sure his job is up in the air. I told everyone 8 months ago, we would get a deal late May. Looked impossible only a few short days ago. This summer will make 2005 look good if they don’t get this across the finish line. I honestly think 750,000,000 in lost revenue could quickly push 1,500,000,000, without a deal. Who knows, presently optimistic, I am personally doing nothing tell it’s actually done though.

UAL😉

DAL is nowhere close to a deal…
